In reading some of the tweets from celebrities (or those claiming to be), it’s painfully obvious how utterly ignorant so many of them are.
Case in Point: “Why do you need an automatic weapon?” — Debra Messing
Hint, Debra, no automatic weapons have been used in 99% of mass shootings, ever.
Case in Point: “We are attacked by foreign terrorists and spend trillions to defend ourselves. But we are terrorized daily by gun violence, and do nothing?” — Dan Rather.
Hint, Dan, these bastards WERE terrorists whom attacked us. Those ‘trillions’ to defend ourselves apparently are the problem as they quite obviously did not work.
Case in Point: “Another senseless shooting followed by another open ended gun violence debate. We HAVE to break this pattern.” — Jesse Tyler Ferguson
Hint, Jesse, perhaps we should vet those coming in to live in our country a little bit more?
Case in Point: “How does the ethnicity of the shooters make this not about guns? How does the motive make it not a mass shooting?” — Andy Richter.
Hint, Andy, we’ve been warning you idiots for some time now, the ethnicity of the shooter IS relevant and IS a large portion of the terrorism problem. If it’s a Christian man shooting up a place, you blame all Christians, but when it’s a Muslim man, you blame guns. Did you have a degree in Libtardology?
Case in Point: “Text ‘enough’ to 877-877 for the public to tell congress directly that we want background checks on ALL gun sales. Do it now! I did!” — Amy Schumer.
Hint, Amy, these latest shooters DID have background checks and passed. In fact, at least one of the latest shooters allegedly had a background check to come into this country and was allowed a Visa because she passed that check. Perhaps we should have better standards for our background checks on coming here instead?
Case in Point: “Your ‘thoughts and prayers’ don’t mean a damn thing.” — Sarah Paulson
Hint, Sarah, perhaps YOURS do not, but mine and those of other Christian men and women do.
Case in Point: “Let’s call ALL mass shootings in America ‘Muslim terror attacks’ – then Republicans would pass gun laws.” — Piers Morgan
Is this Piers Morgan thing still here?
