OK. Common sense lost. No time to grieve about it. It’s time to just work harder; time to double-down and work for common sense and American values. We’re going to speak out and be heard. We’re going to write our congress people continually whether or not we think we are being heard.
- We’re going to protest able-bodied people receiving benefits with no attempt on their part of standing on their own feet. It makes no sense to prepetuate their situation.
- We’re going to protest the lack of drug-testing for welfare-recipients. It makes no sense that we have to be drug-tested to work, yet these recipients do not.
- We’re going to protest being allowed to vote with no verifiable identification. It makes no sense that we cannot ensure our elections are just and proper. If someone has no ID and cannot afford one, it can be provided at no charge to them.
This is just a start. There will be many more things to protest but we have to start somewhere. We are also going to vote not only at the polling places, but also with our wallets and our incomes. We will be heard. We will not allow this handout system to continue to erode the wealth and freedoms of our country.
It begins now!
